Overcoming hydrocephalus

Received my mag today and was excited to learn about medical device assembly..... How can I apply what I learn towards innovation in hydrocephalus shunt manufacturing?  So my brain starts dreaming !

Hawke had an appointment with his physiatrist yesterday. This Dr makes the big decisions and follows Hawke for Cerebral Palsy.  He has expected Hawke to require Botox shots which is painful in the legs but helps some children to walk.  We were expecting great report but preparing for the bad news. . . miraculously it was decided Hawke does not need Botox at this time!  Praise God, expecting more progress as his PT and OT increase.

Im fired up! Next month I'm going to a conference to: "A "how-to" course for inventors, surgeons, clinicians and other healthcare providers interested in learning essential steps in developing ideas for new and improved medical products and techniques." Asking for prayer that I make the right connections and learn what I need to!

Thanking God for 2012 & 2013 - The entire year is not guaranteed for any of us; -) 2012 equaled a year of NO BRAIN SURGERIES! Expecting 2013 to be the year Hawke walks!!  Never thought an entire year would pass without a brain surgery, pheww many were not so fortunate.   So grateful for Jesus, my wife, my children and friends.  Blessings that are immeasurable regardless of the challenges ahead I know we can overcome them in Christ!
